How GPS tracker works?

GPS tracker fetches targeted person location or object using a combination of technologies like LBS (Location-Based Service), satellites, and WiFi.

If you track via satellite, the GPS tracker should be in a location where it has a direct line of sight to the sky. Wi-fi tracking uses the Mac address of the router to locate a device. LBS calculates the distance of the device from the radio tower.
